Let’s first see some sample pictures of this 17mm f1.5 lens provided by TTartisan, I always love the pictures in the woods for it makes me feel at peace and calm mind.

This will be a pretty darn quick review of the TTartisan 17 mm prime lens for Fujifilm. The reason why it will be quick is simply that there isn’t much to say about it. This is a really affordable and well-put-together lens that delivers images that are definitely nice enough for the price, I would even say a bit nicer than that.

It has a cool vintage look that we haven’t seen from them before but the building fit and finish are just like we have come to expect solid and all-metal the metal screw cap can be a bit annoying on the go but like every true photographer you have a Pentax Q camera and can therefore borrow a cap from it the mount is as always also metal the focus has a very smooth focused through the geared part of the ring is quite thin but since it’s so smooth you can grip it pretty much wherever the aperture comes with clicks this time.

It balances okay on my XE4 without any additional grip but it is a bit front-heavy on any of the bigger fuji models I probably wouldn’t have noticed image quality is actually very good i would have expected it to be crazy soft wide open  obviously it will be a little soft compared to step down but way sharper than I would have thought for a lens Costing less than 150 dollars.

If you follow me you know that at 28 mm or on the fuji’s aps-c side sensor an 18 MM lens is my all-time favorite and what I use 99 of the time so the 17 millimeter is pretty darn perfect it lets you set a zone from just above one meter to infinity already at f4 great for street photography with the added bonus of an f 1.4 aperture to achieve a little bit of separation as a bonus and of course, it will also let in more light combined with a very lovely close focus of only 20 centimeters.

It has been quite fun to use in fact I will put the fun factor as the biggest strength in my book being able to use it almost as close as possible. But the big aperture makes it a perfect lens for when I’m just outside enjoying the spring. I constantly find myself looking for different types of compositions so would I buy one I used to own the very big inexpensive 16-millimeter f 1.4 it has a killer image quality but I Almost never used it unless I forced myself to I always grab the 18 millimeter f2 Instead it makes for a much better match together with a 27-millimeter pancake for me when the affordable 16-millimeter f 2.8 was released I never thought about the 16 1.4 again.

The only thing missing would be the fast aperture of the 1.4 a gap which the TT artisan now can fill and given that I could buy a used 18 millimeter a 16-millimeter f 2.8 and a new tt artisan 17-millimeter f 1.4 for less than one single used 16-millimeter f 1.4 then there isn’t much more to think about in my opinion that’s it like always don’t buy a lens based on any review go out and find full resolution samples online so you can make sure that the image quality is enough for your personal preference.

  1. You really make it appear really easy together with your presentation however I in finding this topic to be really one thing which I feel I might by no means understand. It kind of feels too complex and very wide for me. I’m having a look forward for your subsequent put up, I抣l attempt to get the hold of it!

  2. One thing I’d like to say is that often car insurance cancelling is a dreadful experience and if you are doing the correct things as a driver you may not get one. Some individuals do have the notice that they are officially dropped by their insurance company they have to struggle to get supplemental insurance after having a cancellation. Inexpensive auto insurance rates tend to be hard to get after a cancellation. Understanding the main reasons pertaining to auto insurance cancellations can help motorists prevent losing one of the most important privileges offered. Thanks for the thoughts shared by means of your blog.

  3. Wonderful blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News. Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Thanks
